    Mold Testing

Certified Lab Analysis — Know Exactly What You're Dealing With

Mold testing provides scientific evidence of mold contamination that visual inspection alone cannot confirm. Our certified sampling protocols collect air, surface, and bulk samples analyzed by an accredited third-party laboratory.

Air spore trap sampling measures the concentration and species of mold spores in the air you breathe — both inside your home and compared against an outdoor baseline control sample. Elevated indoor spore counts, even without visible mold, indicate a hidden source that needs investigation.

Surface sampling (tape lift or swab) is used when visible mold growth is present and species identification is needed. This is critical when dealing with potential toxic mold species like Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold).

All samples are analyzed by an AIHA-accredited laboratory, and you receive a detailed lab report along with our written interpretation of the findings and recommended next steps.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How long does lab testing take?

Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days. Rush processing (24–48 hours) is available for an additional fee.

Do I need testing if I can already see mold?

Often yes — testing identifies the specific species (critical for black mold) and reveals whether spores have spread to other areas of the home.

Can I do mold testing myself?

DIY kits are available but are unreliable and often misleading. Professional sampling using calibrated equipment and accredited labs provides results that are legally defensible and scientifically accurate.

Will my insurance accept your test results?

Yes. Our reports and lab results are accepted by all major insurance carriers and are routinely used in real estate transactions and legal proceedings.

Do you offer other testing services?

Yes! We offer other testing services such as ERMI testing, ENDO Testing, Mycotoxin Testing, Bacteria and LED testing. Additional costs apply.
